Held in conjunction with the MPS World Summit, these meetings provide an exclusive platform for focused discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking among global experts.

- Organized by academic, nonprofit, government, or research institutions (not commercial in nature).
- Focused on scientific or technical themes aligned with the Summit’s mission.
- May include workshops, symposia, or roundtable discussions.
- Approved by the Summit organizers to ensure scheduling harmony and mission alignment.
When Are Satellite Meetings Held?
Satellite Meetings are scheduled before or after the official Summit dates to ensure a seamless and immersive conference experience.
- Pre-Summit: May 25-26 (or earlier), prior to the official Summit kickoff on the afternoon of May 26.
- Post-Summit: After the conference concludes on the afternoon of May 29.
This timing allows participants to fully engage with the Summit’s core program while benefiting from additional opportunities to explore specific MPS topics in depth.

Sponsor-Hosted Sessions are part of the main program and provide an opportunity for corporate partners to share industry insights or highlight innovative products and solutions.
Affiliate Events are social or networking gatherings organized by external groups in conjunction with the Summit. While not part of the official program, these events enrich the attendee experience and foster community-building.
Satellite Meetings are designed to complement the Summit’s scientific program, featuring educational or research-driven content.
I’m interested in hosting multiple events or a multi-day event, do I need to submit more than one request?
Yes, please submit one request per function, i.e. a new request for each event taking place at a distinct day and time.
Who will approve Satellite Meeting requests?
All satellite meeting requests will be evaluated by representatives designated by the MPS Scientific Advisory Committee
What assistance does iMPSS provide to Satellite Meeting Organizers?
Unless otherwise agreed upon, the requesting organization will be responsible for all planning and costs associated with their requested event. IMPSS will assist with promoting the Satellite Meeting to registered attendees.
